Throughout the course practical exercises and real case studies are used and delegates are encouraged to come ready to practice coaching in groups. The limited number of delegates ensures each participant receives individual attention.
Target
This course is aimed at any manager, responsible for the development of a team.
Advanced level course, typically for media people with a minimum of 5 years experience.
Please note that the course focuses purely on the coaching aspect of management. Anyone requiring broader people management skills should take a look at our Management Fundamentals course.
Format
This is a one day intensive course held at a convenient central London location. Lunch and light refreshments are provided.
Facilitator
The course is run by Helen Tiffany F.C.I.P.D. who specialises in management training in areas such as motivation, influencing skills and leadership. Helen started her career within publishing, working with a variety of media owners, initially in advertising sales and then in HR where she became Head of Training and Development at Haymarket Magazines. She now runs her own training company, Bec Development. She is also a coach for the Manchester Business School and author of ‘The Guide To Manager As Coach’, Croner Publications.
Helen’s experience of having worked within advertising ensures empathy with the delegates. Her emphasis is on learning that can be used on the job immediately, with results to match.
